The Psychiatrist will provide professional time to the Ramapo Ridge inpatient unit maintaining the quality of care in a Christian and professional manner to all patients assigned to him/her. The Psychiatrist will need to be competent to care for patients in the following age groups: adolescent (ages 14 - 18), adult (ages 19 - 64) and geriatric (ages 65 +). Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.Follows policies and procedures of the hospital.The individual is competent to care for patients in the following age groups: child/adolescent (ages 14 - 18), adult (ages 19 - 64), geriatric (ages 65+).Follows the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Bylaws of the medical staff of the hospital.Provides patient care services within the scope of clinical privileges granted by the governing body.Provides leadership to professional and clinical staff.Screens and admits patients to hospital.Attends Medical staff meetings as required.Serves as on call Psychiatrist for the hospital, at night and on weekends as assigned.Provides supervision to clinical staff as assigned/is necessary.Provides patient care services within the scope of clinical privileges granted by the governing body.
