Asheville Detox Center is currently seeking full-time Primary Therapists to join our team Overall, our focus is on providing excellent care while maintaining a fun, calming environment for clients and staff alike. We are passionate about helping others achieve freedom from drugs and alcohol and we are hoping you are too

This includes weekly one on one sessions, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment planning, maintaining contact with client's family members and leading group facilitation. The Primary Therapist maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment, and communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all clients per company policies, procedures, and best practices.

Facilitate group therapy sessions
Engage in family therapy sessions to address family dynamics, educate on addiction, promote healthy communication, and support the recovery process.
Collaborate with the clinical, medical and operational team members to ensure coordinated care.
Document client progress, treatment interventions, and any significant observations in a timely and consistent manner.
Participate in treatment planning meetings: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and training to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure and certifications.

Education – Master's level preferred or (related experience in substance abuse field.)
Certifications - LPC/MHSP, LADC, LMFT, CADC, LADAC
Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience.
