Unit Information: Aventura MC – CT Tech Location: Aventura Hospital and Medical Center Awards/Recognition: New 1.2 million state of the art computed tomography scanner just added, Certified comprehensive Stroke Center, American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award

Job Requirements

Must have: ARRT (CT) & BLS Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech Preferred or nice to have: RT (T), ASRT

Schedule Information

Day Shift – Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs Night Shift – Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient

Unit Specific Information

Number of Beds - 18 Number of Staff – 8 Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs Type of equipment – ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy EMR - Meditech Typical procedures performed on unit(s): CT Scan, MRI, body scanner, X-Rays Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment
