# Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
# Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
# Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' occupational performance, considering physical, cognitive, emotional, and social factors
# Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings, resident goals, and physician recommendations
# Provide training and interventions to improve residents' independence in activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
# Plan and conduct therapeutic activities to enhance residents' physical and cognitive abilities, as well as their social engagement
# Address and manage pain through therapeutic interventions, adaptive strategies, and education
# Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of occupational therapy services
JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:
# Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
# Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
# 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience within the last 3 years
# Valid OT license in VA
