CDC has a full-time opportunity for a Dental Hygienist at our Maplewood clinic. This position serves as an integral member of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.
Experienced Hygienists and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
*00 more per hour for working PM hours (referred to as shift differential pay) at the Maplewood clinic.
Dental Hygienist Responsibilities: Perform full scope of procedures as outlined in the Delegated Procedures List created by the Board of Dentistry.
Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures
Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan
Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; Make referrals to dentists, medical doctors, and other practitioners in consultation with a dentist
AM shift: PM shift: A typical Hygienists schedule is a combination of two AM and two PM shifts, and alternating full day Fridays.
Dental Hygienist Qualifications:
Dental Hygienist license
Experience working with culturally diverse communities
Proficiency in a second language preferred
