Maintains safe and appropriate utilization of supplies and equipment. Assists with inventory management for surgery and anesthesia supplies. Contributes to the progress and development of the Quality and Risk Management Program.
* Adheres to Patient Care and Treatment Policies/Procedures.
* Performs operating room scrub assistant functions following principles of aseptic technique and prescribed operating room procedures.
* Adheres to accepted sterilization/processing policies and procedures.
* Works with other team members to maintain surgical and anesthesia inventory levels and accurate records.
Graduation from a surgical tech two-year program. We are willing to train a new graduate.
Some prior experience with hospital computer systems or data entry preferred
Require language skills adequate for written and interpersonal communications in American English.
Requires high-level visual and auditory acuity for timely response and patient care assessment activities. Category I exposure to bloodborne pathogens, exposure to chemical and/or radiation hazards.
