Seeking a Medical Assistant for busy OBGYN/Specialties Department. Medical Assistants are important members of the clinical care team. They work in close partnership with clinical staff. Their primary function is to manage efficient patient flow and to be available to assist clinical staff as needed.
Medical Assistants are responsible for department-specific tasks in accordance with their training. Medical Assistants are responsible for maintaining non-pharmaceutical supplies and equipment. The Medical Assistant assumes a range of patient care responsibilities dealing with the physical and emotional aspects of department-specific patient age groups. Medical Assistants are supervised by licensed nursing personnel. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, may include evening rotation.

Follows procedure for operation of autoclave and properly documents each load.
HS Diploma/GED and a graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant program.
New Grad Medical Assistants welcomed.
One year of Medical Assisting experience preferred.
Computer literacy.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
