· Level 1 trauma and Siemen’s experience is required

· Under general supervision and following established procedures, operates CT equipment (e.g. CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, Patient monitoring devices, etc.) to acquire images for use by physicians in diagnosis and treatment of pathologies.

· Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol.

· Explains exam to patient taking into consideration physical and emotional needs; maintains ethical standards (patient confidentiality, professional conduct, etc.).

· Calibrate and verify the operation of all equipment to be used during the work day.

· Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintains appropriate CEU's in accordance with Massachusetts State Licensure and A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) requirements.

· Be Registered or eligible for certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent is required.

· 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses.

· Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and / or emotional stress.

Pay: $2,992.00 per week
