Currently enrolled in a BSN School of Nursing and have completed one (1) semester of a fundamental medical/surgical clinical
~2 shifts every 6 weeks
~ Nights: 7 pm-7 am
~ Holiday Rotation
~ Every third weekend

GI/GU Service is consistently ranked in the top 20 in the nation by U.News & World Reports. We care for a diverse population of patients needing colorectal and urology surgery. We are leaders in providing Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) care. We are a 38 bed surgical unit with a goal of providing excellent care to all of our patients. We offer a knowledgeable staff willing to assist you with your learning process during orientation and beyond, and a learning environment to help you grow in knowledge, skills, and confidence.
Provides multi-skilled, direct patient care, under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse.
Documents all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology. Ensures availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs.
~ Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team.
~ Collects clinical data and information on patients and reports abnormal findings to the nurse.
