Do you want to work as a(an) Registered Nurse RN Oncology PRN where your passion for creating positive patient interactions is valued? As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." State-of-the-art units equipped with the latest technologies in patient care
You will consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to independently deliver safe nursing care to patients.
You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes

Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
Our Oncology unit offers the following.
~ You will care for Med/Surg as well as Oncology patients that are receiving active chemotherapy treatments. You will have the ability to help you become a CNC, ICU, ER, OR, PACU, or Interventional Radiology RN.
~20 to 25% of the patients are receiving chemo therapy.
~ A lot of great training and mentorship.
~ Will get great experience to help you grow as a nurse. Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is equipped with the most modern technology available.
