CNC Programmer

System One is currently looking for a skilled CNC Programmer in the St. Petersburg area. Essential duties & responsibilities: Program and operate CNC machines Program complex geometry using G code and CAM software. 3 axis Interpret complex mechanical blueprints and 3D CAD models for manufacturing specifications Utilize your 3D CAD expertise to create or modify CNC programs for the production of parts. Build, fabricate, and/or repair manufactured parts from verbal instructions, blueprints and/or working drawings Use and operate a variety of hand tools, and electrical and mechanical equipment Utilize various forms of precision inspection equipment (i.e. comparators, micrometers, calipers, gauging, etc.) Perform in-process inspection of manufactured parts/assemblies Repair, clean, adjust and/or perform preventive maintenance on equipment, tools, or machinery, etc. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Technical certification (Apprenticeship) or specialized trainings preferred 3+ years of direct related machine programming/operation experience 2+ years of direct experience programming/operating Proven experience as a 3-Axis CNC Operator, with expertise in setting up and operating CNC machines. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for program development. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Knowledge of various materials, tools, and machining processes. Experienced with principles, theories, and practices of machining Plastics #LI-ST1 #M1
