Luke's Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) First Assist for a nursing job in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Shift: 12 hours
~ Employment Type: Staff

Luke's Health System in Twin Falls is seeking a Part Time (0.8 FTE) RN to join our OB GYN MV Womens Health team.
The RN First Assist will assist OBGYN Doctors with their GYN surgeries and also their c-section deliveries.
Some call/weekends may be needed.
Works in collaboration with the surgeon and health care team in the performance of surgical procedures, including assessment, planning, directing, providing and evaluating advanced nursing care.
In collaboration with the health team members, may participate in preoperative assessment and planning for selected surgical patients.
Collaborates with other health team members to develop, coordinate and implement a perioperative plan of care unique to individual patient needs.
Intraoperative - provides knowledge based technical assistance to the surgeon during the operative procedure according to standards, licensure, state regulation and facility/practice protocols.
Postoperative patient management in collaboration with other health care providers.
Degree in Nursing. RN's with less than 1 year of RN experience at the time of hire into the position must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN-Accreditation Commission of Education in Nursing, CCNE-Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education, CNEA-Commission of Nursing Education Accreditation)
