The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida.The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation its highest and best level of accreditation. The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor delivery, and so much more. The ASU is team oriented and very collaborative keeping quality and safety as our main goal. The Manager leads by example and coaches and mentors and elevates her team members. Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position. The shift will be M-Fri 8:00 AM-4:30 pm. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus. Qualifications Education BSN required, or obtained within 2 years of hire Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Registered Nurse License BLS ACLS PALS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Leadership skills, Should attend hospital training programs including: Leadership Institute courses, Specialty certification preferred 2-5 years prior experience in a perioperative hospital setting required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Anesthesia Pre Op Clinic Experience highly preferred
