*PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Marys & Ascension Medical Group is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiologist for our cardiovascular team.
Comprehensive cardiovascular care includes state-of-the-art cardiac cath labs, non-invasive cardiac and vascular testing, electrophysiology and structural heart programs. Marys has the largest cardiac research and clinical trials in the region.
Join an established cardiology team, 12 physicians + 11 APPs
Ascension Michigan Cardiology state-wide service line allows for system wide collaboration
Busy outpatient EP clinic with internal device and monitoring clinic
Outreach EP clinic: Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
Educates patients regarding health, illness prevention, and healing.
Communicates effectively with colleagues, patients, physicians, staff and administration.
Maintains quality of clinical practice by selecting appropriate avenues for professional growth.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Medicine.
Graduation from an accredited medical school.
Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Cardiology.
Successful completion of a fellowship in Electrophysiology.
