Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join our Idaho practice.
Behavioral Health Solution's (BHS) team of mental health treatment professionals specialized in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities and through Outpatient Telehealth. As a leading provider of behavioral health services, we are seeking skilled professionals of the highest caliber who share our commitment to providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services.
As a Regional Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the psychiatric clinical programs in Washington and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. You will conduct evaluations and assessments for new patients in our partner facilities. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and treating psychiatric disorders, developing care plans, and communicating effectively with nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Provide medication management services by evaluating medication effectiveness and side effects, prescribing medication, and adjusting dosages as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, including progress notes, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes.
Provide clinical oversight and review of medical documentation created by PMHNPs servicing the Idaho practice.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including therapists, psychologists, and social workers to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Attend training and continuing education programs to stay current on best practices and new research in psychiatry.
Full-time

Completion of a residency training program in psychiatry and two years of post-residency experience as a psychiatrist in a psychiatric facility are required.
O. degree from an accredited medical school.
Knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry; current developments in the field of psychiatry; hospital and clinic organization, management, and procedures.
