The Test Technician is responsible for product performance testing of critical semiconductor products on dedicated electromechanical test stands and fixtures, and analysis, interpretation, and storage of test data.
Setup, test, and evaluate test results using dedicated test fixtures, multi meters, power supplies, and related electromechanical equipment.
* Testing of electrostatic chucks for voltage breakdown, chucking performance, leakage current, and helium flow.
* Analysis, interpretation, trouble shooting and storage of test data in accordance with established procedures.
* Preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment.
* Troubleshoot and basic equipment repair.
* Conduct failure analysis activities as required.
* Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.
Associates degree in related engineering discipline or equivalent test experience in a semiconductor environment preferred.
* 0-2 years' experience working with electromechanical test equipment in the semiconductor industry.
* Working knowledge of basic electronics to understand system function, assist in troubleshooting, and provide the foundation for test results interpretation.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and follow established procedures.
* Ability to solder, build cables, and wire test systems, instrumentation, and units being tested.
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
* Ability to take notes, document a process, and repeat the process.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Ability to perform daily tasks with little or no supervision.
Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, use hands to finger, handle, or feel parts; Ability to handle delicate parts.
Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
