PDS Tech Commercial has just the job for you. In partnership with a leading aviation company here in the Dallas metro area, we are looking to hire Quality Control Inspectors.

  • Pay rate = $34-$43/ hour (dependent on experience)

Quality Control Inspector job responsibilities include:

  • Conduct weighing procedure in accordance with manufacturers recommended practices and procedures

  • Coordinate inspection activities in compliance with computer tracking maintenance programs (i.e. CAMPS, AVTRAC)

  • Perform inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, route cards, inspection travelers, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents

  • Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft structure and systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspect for FOD and verify paperwork.

  • Ensure all work packages (orders and forms) as well as records of arrival, maintenance and corrective actions performed, are documented accurately and that all specialized customer (RED, RFE & SRPSA)and regulatory paperwork (FAA, FAR/CAA, etc) is complete and required approvals have been obtained

  • Perform return to service process and ensure assigned aircraft meets all airworthiness requirements prior to return to service

Qualified candidates must have:

  • 3-5+ years Quality and/or Inspection experience in Aviation industry

  • A&P license is required

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to lift 20+ pounds throughout shift (as needed)

  • Strong working knowledge of inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)

Pay Details: $34.00 to $43.00 per hour
