Job Title: Analytical Chemist Location: Groton, CT Type: Contract Join the worlds premiere biopharmaceutical company, working towards revolutionary medicines that enables to enrich and extend life for people suffering from all types of diseases. Responsibilities Work directly with Pfizer senior scientist in day-to-day tasks. Conduct sample preparation and assist instrument analysis/troubleshooting. Assist running experiments and data acquisition. Assist data processing with instrument vendor’s and Pfizer in-house software. Capture data into Pfizer e-notebook and assist data archiving. Help to maintain instrumentation and bioanalytical consumables inventory. Requirements Minimum Qualifications BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines Knowledge of separation science and/or instrument analysis particularly in LC/MS Computer literacy, and competency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc. Fast learner of new skills and attention to details.
