Overview Women's Health Nurse Practitioner - Ranked a Top 100 Hospital Tampa, Florida - The Sunshine State Responsibilities Pediatrix Medical Group seeks an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Nurse Midwife to join its OBGYN practice at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. * Join a highly experienced team of 9 physicians, with a double physician team in-house 24 hours a day * Candidates should have a minimum of 3-years experience in women's health and be enthusiastic life-long learners * Responsibilities will include working closely with team in covering OB triage, emergency room, obstetric and gynecologic consults, patient rounds, and fetal monitoring * Surgical assist experience and qualifications are a plus but not required * Deliveries performed by physician team * 12-hour shift model from 7a-7p or 7p-7a, shared equally or by preference between WHNP/CNM team * 10-12 shifts per month * Over 6000 deliveries annually at the hospital, 20% delivered by the hospitalist team * Supported by an amazing Level-IV NICU team with our affiliated practice of board-certified neonatologists available 24 hours a day * Additional support by a comprehensive and experienced anesthesia team available 24 hours a day * St. Joseph's Women's Hospital is widely regarded as "the place in Tampa to have a baby" because of their comfortable labor and delivery suites, extensive childbirth education programs, Level-IV NICU and maternal/fetal program that offers the security expectant mothers need * Amazing flexibility with plenty of time off to enjoy the Tampa Bay area * Highly competitive salary in a supportive environment and beautiful city - this is the job you have been looking for About the hospital: * St. Joseph's Women's Hospital is located on the campus of St. Joseph's Hospital - Main, which is the flagship hospital of the BayCare Health System * The hospital offers comprehensive gynecologic, urodynamics, obstetrical, surgical, perinatal, and oncological services, as well as the Shimberg Breast Center * With a 5-story tower home to a Level IV NICU, this private room facility brings all these vital medical services together in one centralized source to make high-quality health care accessible and convenient in a technologically advanced, yet soothing, spa-like environment designed to anticipate and meet the unique needs of women.
