JOB TITLE: Enterprise Architect (EA) JOB LOCATION: Remote WAGE RANGE*: $80-90 JOB NUMBER: 24-00662 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Experience and SkillsExperience working within an Architecture Framework such as TOGAF or FEAF. Experience working within at least two Architecture DomainsBusiness Architecture Application Architecture Information/Data Architecture Technology Architecture Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work within a team Ability to meet shifting deadlines Ability to work within a set budget Produce the deliverables as required, including:Technology Roadmaps Architecture Gap Analysis Report Support in the procurement processes such as identifying needs through review of demonstrations, bid submissions or contracts Current State Logical Architecture diagrams Future State Logical Architecture diagrams Architecture Vision documentation for use by business partners System integration and data-flow diagrams Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Certification artifacts when applicable JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities / Description: The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for applying practical design principles and communicating complex and detailed information with business and information technology (IT) professionals across the State.The EA aligns business strategies to IT strategies through an Enterprise Architecture framework, such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) of FEAF (Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework). The EA will map business processes and other business-centric artifacts with Enterprise Architecture domains: Business, Application, Information, and Technology. The EA will establish maturity models, roadmaps, gap analyses and sustainability models of current and future state system architectures. The EA will analyze, plan, design, provide leadership to IT projects, and implement State Information Systems, emphasizing reusing business processes and information technology solutions within and outside State environments. The EA will contribute to IT standards development and documentation. The primary focus of this EA is related to state Health and Human Services Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) activities however circumstances may dictate some time spent for other critical business needs as identified and approved by the Agency The EA will be providing architectural views that help communicate the complexity of large systems and facilitate the management of extensive, complex environments. The EA will be improving consistency, accuracy, timeliness, integrity, quality, availability, access, and sharing of IT-managed information across the State enterprise.
