Chemical Manufacturing Lab Supervisor - New Kensington, PA (First Shift)
Our client located in New Kensington, PA. is seeking (1st shift) Direct Hire, Chemical Manufacturing, Laboratory Supervisor. The Lab Supervisor will lead the modification and validation of robust analytical test methods to support R&D investigations into novel formulation development activities, and quality control testing of existing or new functional fluids & components for internal combustion engines. Lab Supervisor will also collaborate with our quality team to provide analytical problem-solving support for root cause analysis within our manufacturing facilities.



Do you have a completed Bachelors in Chemistry?
Do you have direct experience using UHPLC equipment and methods?
Do you have direct experience with ICP, IC and GM/MS equipment and methods?
Manages lab team along with scheduling, coordination, and execution of all sample orders through the lab to include maintaining data continuity within LIMS Sample Manager
Develop and validate analytical test methods for testing of our engine and industrial functional fluids, for UHPLC, IC, ICP and GC/MS methods, which will include quantification of the base fluid and additive package
Preparing technical reports for both internal and external customers or stakeholders, which will cover validation of refined test methods and analytical investigations into quality related concerns
Execute new analytical techniques for improved quality control within our manufacturing plants
Calibrating, and maintaining equipment for analytical development activities



Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry, or analytical chemistry required



Experience using UHPLC, ICP, IC and GM/MS equipment and methods required
Able to manage multiple projects and varying tasks simultaneously
