As a Full-Stack Staff Engineer, you will play a critical role in pushing forward our key patient, partner and internal-facing products. You will be responsible for owning the technical design, architecture, implementation and delivery of our key products with a consumer mindset that builds around the user. You have previously built consumer-facing (B2C) products and are deeply familiar with best practices and key technologies to drive an excellent user experience. You have “strong opinions, loosely held”, and focus on shipping quickly to ensure learnings from users to drive data-driven decisions.
You are a dynamic player-coach/tech lead capable of initially excelling as a senior individual contributor, with the potential and ambition to transition into a leadership role as our team expands. This is a full-time hybrid role based out of San Francisco, CA.

Independently spearhead the delivery of large and complex projects by identifying, prioritizing and solving for ambiguous, open-ended problems with flexibility, and execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
Exercise strong technical leadership through modeling best practice coding. Design and deliver high performance, testable, extensible and scalable software systems.
Help build and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, and promoting continuous learning and growth
7+ years of experience as a full stack engineer with a successful history of launching products, and a focus on consumer-facing applications.
~ Deep experience and understanding of a wide range of front technologies, languages, frameworks, component libraries, and tools (we use Typescript, React, and CSS; experience with other front end technologies (e.g. Redux, Angular) is a bonus))
~ A strong understanding of front-end performance optimization, scalability, and security
~ Proven track record of high quality coding and architectural design
~ Solid experience with SPA, monorepo, test-driven development, CI/CD, and monitoring tools
~ Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility, unit testing (e.g. Experience extending backend API systems and writing database queries is a plus
Experience building and deploying native apps on iOS and Android is a plus
