Job Summary:Primarily responsible for applying the nursing process to the care of veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.-This includes, but is not limited to, assuring that appropriate documentation reflects assessment of patient needs, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical intervention, and evaluation of patients' responses to treatments.-Also responsible for assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room. Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum qualifications required for services:-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.-Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.-Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.Preferred Skills & Experience:-N/A BLS - AHA

NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
5 x 8 OR 4 x 10
Weekends not required
Holidays not required
On call not required
No float requirement
