Our client, a highly reputable Ambulatory Surgery Center with five state-of-the-art operating rooms, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Director to lead their team just outside the beautiful city of Ocala, Florida.

The Surgery Center Nursing Director will oversee and manage the clinical operations of our cutting-edge outpatient surgery center. The Outpatient Surgery Nurse Director will work closely with a dedicated team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, operating room charge nurses, circulator RNs, and pre-post procedural nurses in a supportive and collaborative environment. The ideal Ambulatory Perioperative Nurse Director will possess a strong operating room nursing background, preferably in the area of orthopedic and urologic surgery.

Ambulatory Perioperative Nurse Director Requirements:

  • Current, valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in an acute care hospital or surgical setting. Supervisors and Charge nurses encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required ; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical and perioperative nursing practices.
