Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities planning for an assigned service or population. * Collaborate with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies. * Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilize methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals. * Identify and/or develop teaching tools and instructional materials. * Keep records of educational activities and prepare reports. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required. * BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: * Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
