RWJBH is seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for the Bed Management team at our New Brunswick campus.
Proficient computer skills
Evening Shift, 36 hours per week, 11a-11:30p
* Monday Friday, some weekend commitment and holiday rotation
* Part-time
Manages compliance with regulatory requirements as well as RWJUH policies and procedures i,e, EMTALA, HIPPA.
* Ensures the optimal usage of in-patient bed resources achieved within the parameters of defined policy, ensuring that each acute hospital bed is appropriately assigned.
* Liaison and consult with medical and nursing personnel in the discharge and transfer of all of the above functions, so as to ensure the efficient and effective maximization of the hospital bed base.
