Due to growth, Southern Physical Therapy Clinic is now hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for an Outpatient position in Wiggins, MS. The majority of the caseload for this role will be pediatrics-focused. Full-time is preferred. OTs with part-time or PRN availability will also be considered.
The Occupational Therapist will see a caseload of general orthopedics, neurological cases, hand and upper extremity cases, all ages, but will be mostly treating pediatrics. This is a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting that incorporates Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
Most full-time OTs complete 45-55 visits per week.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday. No weekends, no holidays The schedule can be flexible based on the needs of the candidate hired.
The clinic hours are Monday - Thursday: 7 am - 6 pm, and Friday: 7 am - 12 pm.
Occupational Therapists are paid a competitive hourly rate based on experience. A brand-new grad can expect to receive an hourly rate in the ballpark of $32 per hour. There is a bonus program available based on individual performance.
Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and a retirement plan. Professional development is encouraged and includes reimbursement for CEUs.
No experience required - New grad OTs will be considered. There is mentorship and training available.
Full-time availability is preferred. Part-time and/or PRN candidates with 16 hours and two weekdays of availability per week will also be considered.
