Company: Central Expedite Inc., a leading name in the trucking industry, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance department and contribute to our strategic growth.

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Leadership: Provide leadership to the finance and accounting teams, ensuring optimal financial performance and streamlined operations.
  2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the development of all financial reports, statements, and audits. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with standard accounting practices and regulations.
  3. Strategic Analysis: Analyze the company's financial details to identify development opportunities and areas for cost-saving.
  4. KPI Management: Define, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company's objectives and growth targets.
  5. Reconciliation: Manage and streamline reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  6. Team Organization: Create an organized and efficient finance team structure. Recruit, train, and retain top talent in the department.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departmental heads and executive leadership to ensure financial strategies align with organizational goals.
  8. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring departments adhere to their financial limits.
  9. Risk Management: Monitor financial risks and design & implement effective strategies to mitigate them.
  10. Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends in the trucking industry, leveraging industry-specific knowledge for financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s or MBA is preferable.
  2. Minimum of [X years] experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the trucking industry.
  3. Strong understanding of the trucking industry, its financial specifics, and market dynamics.
  4. Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
  5. Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading strong teams.
  6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  7. Demonstrated ability in developing efficient financial strategies and guiding efforts towards achieving business goals.
