Hospital: Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola 
Our Level I trauma center, open heart surgery and organ transplant hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Director for our forward thinking and collaborative surgical services team.

*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for Surgical Services.
Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Direct and evaluate all clinical activities, including care plan development, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Work collaboratively with physicians, administration and directors to develop streamlined operations where equipment, supplies and staff are utilized efficiently and resourcefully.
Remove obstacles to achieving clinical quality, service excellence and financial effectiveness targets.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
~ Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
~2 years of leadership or management experience required.
~5 years of leadership or management experience preferred
