The Engineering Technician position is a
ccountable to set up and operate product test equipment, evaluate and test component / system performance and write reports summarizing the tests results. Job duties will also require using data acquisition equipment (LabView or others) and supporting engineering related activities.

Engineering Technician Responsibilities:
Samples and tests in-house and vendor supplied components according to engineering evaluation request instructions.
Works with design engineering staff to test parts under development and assemble and test product prototypes.
Tests new parts designed to reduce costs to determine whether function will be affected.
Performs housekeeping and maintenance duties related to work area.
Engineering Technician Qualifications:
Good communications skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite along with strong electro-mechanical aptitude are paramount.
Familiarity with PLC’s, C programming, LabView, Dewesoft, VR Controllers, data acquisition and mechanical controls experience is helpful, but not required.
