Leadership opportunities as a Peer Mentor, Clinical Fieldwork Supervisor and more Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant: Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student’s potential.
Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
Travel may be required throughout the school day. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program
Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant License
*Indirect license required for Physical Therapist Assistant
