Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the pediatric acute and critically ill patient. The RN in the Super Pool will organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. The RN in the Super Pool will maintain a safe and therapeutic environment as well as participate in MCCH initiatives and process improvement. The RN in the Super Pool will maintain high-quality age specific care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population. The RN in the Super Pool must be willing to switch shifts for periods of time based on the facility need. Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
~ Tier 2: Must be able to work in PICU, CICU, NICU Level IV, Peds ED, 6D, 6N, 6NW, Stem Cell Transplant (pediatric patients).
~2 years of critical care type experience required with competency to float to others within Tier 2.
~ Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
