Generations at Applewood in Matteson, Illinois has an immediate opening for an Experienced Wound Care Nurse- Flexible hours/days. To create a full-time position, we have available shifts on the floor. Wound Care Certificate, Training or Full Certification Needed.
Hourly Rates are:
Plus you can pick up shifts working a cart. $2 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse (RN):
Medication application to existing wounds
Educate patients to care for their own wounds
Care for patient's surgical incisions, any pressure sores or any wounds caused from disease or injury
Wound Care Nurse (RN):
Wound Care Certification (WCC) or Vohra Certificate or ability to complete certification preferred
Extensive Wound Care experience
Personable and professional with residents, families, and staff
Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards
Must have compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
