Position: Full-Time Dental Hygienist
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Dogwood Dental Care

Compensation: $35 - $41 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dental health, have a strong attention to detail, and excel in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charts
  • Ensure a clean and sterilized work environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in Illinois
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through
  • Team-oriented and driven to provide high-quality patient care
  • Open to new graduates; experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Current dental hygienist license in IL
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
