This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora campuses. Under the supervision of the radiologist and leaders, the RN oversees and directs the care of the patient in diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. They will generate appropriate paperwork, provide complete history of patient, properly charge for everything affiliated with procedure, and electronically document when required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Education: Graduate of school of nursing program.
Experience: One-year experience in ICU, telemetry or ER preferred.
Special Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
Located in Aurora, Colorado, The Medical Center of Aurora offers over 346 beds. It has five medical campuses, including the Main South Campus, the North Campus Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, Centennial Medical Plaza, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Spalding Rehabilitation at P/SL. The Main Campus is a Level II Trauma Center with Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation, serving the eastern metro area and I-70 corridor. The South Campus has a Level III NICU.
