Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for BC/BE Anesthesiologists to join HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL. This newly transitioned program has become part of the growing HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services hospital-employed model. Inverness is located 30 minutes west of The Villages and just over an hour to Orlando. Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights:- Anesthesia Care Team of 4 Anesthesiologists and 13 APPs, Medical Direction
- 10 ORs plus Endo. Team covers 7 sites of service plus OB. No EP lab or IR.
- Annual surgical volume is approximately 4800 cases. 500 deliveries.
- Diverse mix of cases including General, heavy Ortho, Spine, Vascular, OB, GI and Diagnostic Imaging
- No hearts. No Heads. No Trauma.
- Must be Regional Block proficient.
- Schedule of 7a-5p, M-F with beeper call from home split equitably amongst 4 Physicians.
- W-2, Employed position with HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services

- The Heart, Lung and Vascular Center at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is a well-established and respected practice providing the highest quality of surgical care to the residents of Citrus County for the past 20 years.
- Our comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic programs are supported by 6 interventional cardiologists, 3 electrophysiologists, 1 invasive cardiologist and 8 non-invasive cardiologists, in addition to Graduate Medical Education (GME) training and fellowship programs for cardiology, pulmonology and other specialties.
- Our Cardiovascular and EP Labs perform a full array of interventional coronary and peripheral vascular procedures including Inari and Penumbra for pulmonary embolism and peripheral vascular care. Electrophysiology services include CRM devices, SVT, V-Tach and A-Fib Ablations with Convergence launching in the near future. Our Structural Heart program provides TAVR, TEER, LAAO and MViV procedures.
Situated on Florida's Nature Coast, Citrus County boasts a growing business community, a top-rated school system and charming communities nestled into beautiful backdrops.
