Job Title: Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Care*
*Job Type:* Contract
*Pay Rate: Travel Rate: 30 hr (taxable) on W2 + $1162/weekly (nontaxable) =$2242(Weekly gross)*
*Local Pay rate: $46 /hr on W2. (We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our psychiatric care team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health nursing and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients with psychiatric disorders. As a Registered Nurse in our psychiatric unit, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care of patients experiencing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the holistic well-being of our patients and provide support to their families.
*Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status, including physical, psychological, and social factors.
* Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, incorporating patients' preferences, strengths, and goals.
* Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping and recovery.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and facilitate discharge planning.
* Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record system.
* Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
*Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
* Certification in psychiatric-mental health nursing (PMHN) or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
