We are currently searching for accomplished cataract and glaucoma surgeons for the retirements of our most senior glaucoma and cataract specialists based in our Des Moines clinic. Our four current glaucoma subspecialists each annually perform 700-1,600 IOL procedures (avg=1,200+) and approximately150 glaucoma procedures. Our retiring senior cataract surgeon currently performs well over 2,000 IOL procedures annually. Surgical volume for the open positions are expected to be in a similar range. Community referral relationships are well established with our organization and the successful candidates will be provided opportunities to strengthen these relationships.

Our Clinic has been in operation for over 100 years and all ophthalmologists, who have established careers here, have enjoyed a fulfilling practice both financially and professionally. These are partnership track positions. Our average physician compensation is typically in the top 10% nationally. The practice has equal ownership across the physician staff and is managed on a democratic basis with one vote per physician. These arrangements have created an environment that all Wolfe physicians have found very appealing and rewarding. Recently, our group of partners elected to not pursue private equity ownership.

We are searching for a highly motivated, fellowship trained, ophthalmologists that are interested in joining a very busy surgical practice with a large loyal referral base. The successful candidate will have demonstrated their ability to achieve goals through hard work and quality decision making. The professional should have strong surgical interest and skills.
