We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our cardiology team. As an RN specializing in cardiology, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside top cardiologists and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiac disorders.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other relevant parameters.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and cardiac interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with cardiac procedures, including electrocardiograms (ECG), stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
  • Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including electronic health records (EHR).
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects.
  • Provide support during cardiac emergencies and implement appropriate interventions.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current RN License to practice, State of Iowa.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Mandatory Reporter training.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Previous cardiology experience preferred.
