Collins Aerospace, a business unit of Raytheon Technologies, is seeking a strong candidate to join the Power and Controls segment, as a Quality Engineering Manager in Rome, NY.
*Manage a team of Quality Engineering professionals (performance, compensation, staffing & development).
* Work closely with internal customers to ensure that all quality requirements are satisfied.
* Lead and mentor teams through RCCA efforts across the site, as appropriate (through Quality clinic process and metrics), and provide feedback to NPI Engineering).
* Responsible for Quality control tower metrics and communication with leadership.
* Execute ZDP, PPAP, and APQP activities in conjunction with Design and Manufacturing Engineering groups.
* Develop new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance and improved Gauge R&R.
* 5% domestic travel as needed.
*Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience *or *an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience *or* in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
* S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
* 5+ years of experience with a Quality Management System.
* Previous management experience.
* Experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Design Engineering role in operations and/or inspection.
* Experience in Aerospace industry or ISO9001/AS9100 certified manufacturing facility.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
