Schedule: 11am-8pm M-F with rotating Saturdays

Job Location: Iowa & Illinois

Compensation:

The pay rate for this position is: $17/hr-$18.50/hr or more, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

* Greet patients and verify identification.
* Complete registration forms.
* Determine type of imaging study necessary for each patient after reviewing patient’s written order and prepare paperwork for technologist.
* Schedule examinations.
* Answer incoming calls.
* Order and maintain office supplies and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
* Maintain the privacy and security of all protected health information (verbal, written, imaged or computerized data).
* Distribute reports to appropriate physicians and outside agencies.
* Be flexible with work hours and locations of job sites.
* Aid the technologist while moving and positioning the patient, as needed and directed by the technologist on duty.

The hours will be 11am-8pm Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays. You must be willing to work at both their Illinois and Iowa job sites.

Requirements:

* High School graduate or equivalent.
* 1-3 years of prior medical receptionist experience required.
* Proficient at using Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
* Knowledge of ICD-10 & CPT-4 coding, and insurance billing.
* Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
* All new hires are required to be vaccinated against COVID and Influenza prior to starting work.
* Candidates must be in good standing with Medicare and Medicaid, be able to pass all required background checks, and be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
