EDUCATION ACCREDITATION: Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to this position identified as positions of trust will be required to authorize the release of and successfully complete a Fingerprint check.
PROBATION: All persons, including current City employees, selected from this position will be on probation for 6 months.
A Registered Nurse - School Health (10 Months) cares for patients in schools clinics, homes, and other community settings under the direction of a nursing supervisor or other health professional. Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Work is performed in schools, clinics, homes or other community settings where incumbents may encounter illness, disease or stressful situations.

Have an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college
Knowledge of nursing practices and techniques.
* Knowledge of nursing theory and process.
* Knowledge of professional nursing standards.

The examination will consist of a rating of your education, training, and experience as presented on your application and as they relate to the requirements of the position.
