Synthesize software requirements into verification requirements, software test objectives, success criteria, and required resources for software and system level tests and demonstrations.
• Support the development of software requirements and detailed integration software test plans, procedures, test readiness reviews (TRRs), test data and test reports.
• Execution of software qualification and acceptance testing per those requirements, plans and procedures.
• Develop Automated Testing Solutions: Utilize and expand upon our custom automation software library to create efficient and effective testing solutions.
• Participate in internal and customer software test planning working groups.
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment specific to software.
• Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, testing houses, software development engineers and other stakeholders involved in the testing process.
• Review software test plans, procedures, and reports, witness testing as the Cognizant Engineer

Principal Software Engineer: 05 Years with Bachelor’s in relevant field of study, 03 Years with Masters, 00 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
~ Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
~ US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
~• 3-5 Years Experience developing software/writing code/software test in JavaScript.
~ Ability to effectively communicate issues and help provide solutions across teams/sites.
~ Familiarity with Software development processes.
~ Experience in Object-Oriented Programming languages and/or Scripting languages.
~ Experience operating in an Agile environment.
~ Experience with Python.
~ Principal Software Engineer: 09 Years with Bachelor’s in relevant field of study, 07 Years with Masters, 04 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
~ Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
~ US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
~• 7-9 Years Experience developing software/writing code/software test in JavaScript.
~ Ability to effectively communicate issues and help provide solutions across teams/sites.
~ Familiarity with Software development processes.
~ Experience in Object-Oriented Programming languages and/or Scripting languages.
~ Experience operating in an Agile environment.
~ Experience with Python.
US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance (awarded within the past 6 years) with Special Access Program (SAP).
~• Experience with Java.
~• Experience with node.js.
~• Experience with React.
~• Experience with using any of the Atlassian software tools sets (JIRA, Confluence).
~• Ability to effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customers.
~• Experience with database structures.
~• Experience in test automation tools and procedures.
~• Experience in analyzing software requirements and developing software tests.
~• Experience with distributed version control software (Git, Mercurial, SubVersion).
