Location:  Catoosa, OK

Pay: $24/hour

Experience:  Three (3) years of related experience required

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent;  Must be able to pass a 1g Saw Plate Sub-Arc and 2g Plate Test

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Night Shift

ProRecruiters  is seeking a Header Sub Arc/Lance Operator to join a growing and dynamic team

Job Description:

  • Fill the hopper with specified flux and direct nozzle or gravity feed over the weld line
  • Synchronize feed of wire and flux with the speed of welding action
  • Visually examine welds for adherence to specifications
  • Grind welded surfaces as needed
  • Adjust machine setup to various sizes, locations, and penetration of beads
  • Layout, fit, and tack work pieces together
  • Preheat the workpiece with a hand torch or heating furnace
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to weld
  • Observe others' work for compliance with procedures
  • Ability to remove metal and make repairs as necessary
