Flexible working hours
Our people are our greatest asset so we aim to pay above market rate for all positions, and we pay clinical staff for all drive-time between patients. We also provide medical, dental, paid time off, and a 401(k) with full 1-1 match for full time employees.
*Provides physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care. Assesses for muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM—potential for rehab.
Directing physical therapy treatment.
Determining priority needs for physical therapy
- Provide manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote healing
- Provides direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
- Treats patient to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
- Directs and aids patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait and functional training, transfer activities and prosthetic training.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Instructs patients in care and use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and prosthetic or orthotic devices.
- Prepares and submits a clinical progress summary based on the attainment of goals as directed by Organization policy (within 48-hours)
- When therapy is the only skilled service, instructs, supervises and evaluates home health aide care every two (2) weeks.
- Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants according to organization policy and state regulations.
*Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program with either an Associate’s degree in science or applied science that is approved by American Physical Therapy Association, Inc.
-Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and data management
- Experience documenting accurate OASIS data is preferred but not required
- Understanding of the PDGM Medicare model
*Strong manual therapy skills, including trigger point therapy
