New Story School in Columbus, OH is seeking a qualified Paraprofessionals to apply the principles of behavioral science in assisting students, teachers, and other support staff with education and behavior management. Paraprofessionals must be able to quickly respond to staff requests and effectively run a classroom during substitute teaching assignments. Run and assist data-driven practice
Assist with data recording (such as IEP or behavior data)
Use data to make decisions
Assist with habit training duties
Supervise and execute school activities inside and outside the classroom
Implement data-based decision making
Use formal academic and behavior data to assist with interventions
Must possess the ability to react quickly and be sufficiently mobile to redirect students that could be injurious to themselves or others, i.e. stop a child from running out of a building, physically redirect a child with severe behaviors, etc.
