The primary purpose of the RN Supervisor position is to be responsible for the supervision of all nursing activities of the residents of Moravian Hall Square health care center, to ensure the highest quality of nursing care. This position also assigns and supervises nursing personnel to give direct care to residents according to the written plans of care and established standards. Make resident rounds on the assigned units to assess the physical and emotional status of residents and initiate any required nursing interventions.
Review and revise plans of care for problems, goals, and approaches, to assure that care is given on a continuing basis.
Assign responsibility for direct resident care to the LPN's and the nurse aides on the basis of staff qualification, size, and physical layout of the nursing unit, characteristics of the resident load, and the emotional, social, physical, psychological, religious, nutritional, and nursing care needs of the resident.
Foster a culture of safety, ensuring team members are following safe practices. Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years experience, five (5) years preferred, in nursing supervision.
Experience preferred in Gerontology Nursing.
Must have caring, compassionate, and honest qualities.
Basic computer knowledge required.
