Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist the nursing staff in delivering quality care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of medical assistance.

Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff

- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times

- Provide basic life support measures when necessary

- Collect specimens for laboratory testing, including phlebotomy procedures

- Perform catheterization and spinal tap procedures under the supervision of medical professionals

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Ensure a clean and organized patient environment

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients

Qualifications:

- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program

- Previous experience in LTACH and/or hospital settings is preferred

- Proficient in basic life support techniques

- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and documentation

- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
