The Director, Marketing Excellence will support the development of a late-stage commercial asset, Acoramdis, for ATTR-cardiomyopathy. The Director, Marketing Excellence will drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment, ensuring success in the US and across the globe. This individual will lead the development of commercial deliverables, including peer to peer educational efforts and congress strategy. This person will play a lead strategic role on the commercial product team supporting launch excellence and work closely with Market Insights, Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and other key stakeholders and should feel at home in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. The Director of Marketing Excellence will report to the Sr. Vice President, Marketing.
The Director will also support the delivery of key brand expectations such as Brand Planning, Tactical Planning, Launch Readiness, and Quarterly Business Reviews
Plans, executes, and optimizes marketing strategies, collaborating across multiple regions, ensuring consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements
Develops and implements standardized processes and best practices, oversees the creation and review of marketing materials (MLR), and collaborates with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business goals
Lead commercial congress activities and logistical implementation for Acoramidis Marketing teams in collaboration with brand marketing congress channel leads, including exhibit booth design and execution, advertising, sponsorship packages, product theaters, KOL receptions, and ancillary meetings/events
Responsibilities include the establishment of our disease state and branded speaker’s bureau, the initial identification and training of speakers
Negotiate vendor contracts related to product and brand meeting materials and activities Develop and track metrics to measure and ensure the success of marketing/promotional programs
Present business updates to the Senior Team and partner with regional teams to ensure diverse commercial insights are brought into the planning process
High-quality executors, who execute against goals and milestones with quality, precision, and speed
10+ years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience, with at least six years in Marketing
~ Global marketing experience preferred
~ Demonstrated ability to develop actionable insights from complex clinical data and market research
~ Ability to travel (~20%) is required

High-level strategic thinking, with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy
Able to handle full workload across multiple projects
High level of self-awareness and understanding of the importance of self-monitoring behavior for continuous improvement
