We are seeking a Sonographer in our Durham OB-GYN of South Durham clinic located in Durham, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients.
Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explain procedure to patient. Report change in condition to medical staff. Evaluate quality of sonograms. Determine if additional sonograms or ultrasound procedures are indicated.
Archive and de-archive ultrasound data.
Coordinate scheduling and patient flow for add-on ultrasounds.
Assist in teach of ultrasound technology to new providers.
Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification
The schedule for this position is day shifts.
